The Path of Luminism

Luminism is a modern philosophy and religion of reason, compassion, and moral clarity. It teaches that goodness stands on its own… not on dogma, not on fear, and never on threat of divine punishment.

The 9 Please Principles

Please Be Kind.

Please Respect Religion.

Please Avoid Judgement.

Please Promote Comfort.

Please Engage Respectfully.

Please Use Resources Wisely.

Please Obey Just Laws.

Please Support Those in Need.

Please Volunteer.

The 9 Please Principles are central to Luminism. They are teachings that promote a universally moral way of life.

  1. Please Be Kind – Please don’t be mean to others just because they don’t believe the same things you do. People think differently, so let’s be kind to everyone.
  2. Please Respect Religion – Please don’t misuse religion to hurt or be unfair to others. Everyone deserves to be treated the same, and nobody needs to be perfect.
  3. Please Avoid Judgement – Please don’t judge people by their appearance or manner of speech. Everyone has the capacity to be good in their own way.
  4. Please Promote Comfort – Please don’t engage in activities that make others feel uncomfortable. Be mindful of everyone’s comfort and safety.
  5. Please Engage Respectfully – Please don’t argue or troll others, especially not on an empty stomach. Eat something first, then if it still bothers you, engage in a civil debate.
  6. Please Use Resources Wisely – Please don’t spend lots of money on building fancy structures or claim divine communication for personal gain. Use those resources to help others and show kindness to everyone.
  7. Please Obey Just Laws – Please don’t murder, steal, or commit any other crime according to the law of the land.
  8. Please Support Those in Need – Please don’t neglect the well-being of those in need. Instead, support those less fortunate.
  9. Please Volunteer – Please DO volunteer in the community. Your time and efforts can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and foster a stronger, more connected society.
